Good Morning to all, well it seems the rain is gone for a few days and the sun is out! The spring flowers should be popping up everywhere. Here at Good Wives we are excited about all the projects we are working on and of course the ones we want to start.
Linda is still working on her reproduction hexagon quilt along with her baskets from "When the Cold Wind Blows"and I better not forget "Dear Jane". Cindy just finished a beautiful "Fit to Frame" by Lori Smith and she is starting on Autumn Thistle from "When the Cold Wind Blows". Melanie has been busy with her baskets for Trick or Treat and now has gotten addicted to needle turn so she started on one of the small quilts from"Remembering Adelia". I have been working on Love Letters, Dear Jane, and Trick or Treat. I would love to just get one of them done!
Now that I have shared what we are working on I will tell you about some of the new things that have arrived lately. We were all excited to see the new Cinnamon and Spice and Seneca Shirtings from Jo Morton. They are wonderful, as usual! We have already had to reorder the entire line of shirtings . We just received "Elm Creek Quilts Sylvias Bridal Quilt", this week, it is wonderful it would make a great block of the month, mmmm. We are also taking pre-orders on "Simple Comforts" by Kim Diehl and "Folk Art Fun" by Joined at the Hip. If you would like one of these books just call the shop at 1-740-389-5555.
Check back often to see what is fun and exciting at Good Wives, Thanks Laura
