new classes

To help keep hands busy as the winter months go by in a flurry-
we have some great classes in the line-up:

 
  • a beginner applique class: you'll learn at least 6 different methods to hand applique in this star quilt sampler so you can choose the best method for you or for a particular project- the sample will be in the shop soon!
    Applique Star Sampler:  Wednesdays, Feb. 8, 15, and 22; 1-3 PM; free with small class fee.
     
  • a wool on cotton class:  if you've never worked with wool before, you'll love this:  Snowy Days
Snowy Days: Tuesdays, Jan. 17, 31 and Feb. 14; 1-3 PM. 
Pattern $9.00 and Kit $55.00 - Class is free with kit purchase.

 
  • A great flying geese quilt, using the Wing Clipper ruler - perfect flying geese every time using this ruler
Flying Geese:
Wednesdays, Jan. 18 and Feb. 1; 1-3 PM.Kit

  • lastly, a basket quilt wall-hanging from the newest edition of Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine: machine-pieced, with hand applique using freezer paper and spray starch which equals no papers to tear out! Baskets and Petals
