April 9th, May 14th, June 11th, & July 9th

CONFIDENT BEGINNER

This quilt is inspired by an 1850's
New York Album quilt,
AND we've combined that with the
Civil War Pot Holder method,
to create this wonderful Flower Garden pattern for applique.
The first month's class we'll focus on HAND applique methods
(different methods of applique will be covered - you choose your favorite),
and you will need kit #1 to get started.
Each month for the next three months we will offer the next kit and pattern!,
and there will be another step of the
Civil War Hot Pad method:  from applique, piecing, layering, QUILTING YOUR FINISHED BLOCKS, trimming and binding!
(These four floral block patterns and kits will be released the second Tuesday of each month ONLY for a total of 12 finished blocks for a quilt that finishes 43"x 57".)
Our kits are made using the
French General line of fabric
- faded reds and pinks - just GORGEOUS!
(Kits with this specific fabric line are subject to availability, so if you love this French General line as we do, SIGN UP IMMEDIATELY so we can plan accordingly.)
No class fee with Kit (3 blocks per kit - $29.50) and Pattern ($9.50) purchase
