The first month's class we'll focus on HAND applique methods
(different methods of applique will be covered - you choose your favorite),
and you will need kit #1 to get started.
Each month for the next three months we will offer the next kit and pattern!,
and there will be another step of the
Civil War Hot Pad method:  from applique, piecing, layering, QUILTING YOUR FINISHED BLOCKS, trimming and binding!
(These four floral block patterns and kits will be released the second Tuesday of each month ONLY for a total of 12 finished blocks for a quilt that finishes 43"x 57".)
Our kits are made using the
French General line of fabric
- faded reds and pinks - just GORGEOUS!
(Kits with this specific fabric line are subject to availability, so if you love this French General line as we do, SIGN UP IMMEDIATELY so we can plan accordingly.)

My Quilt Spree 2012 is HERE!!!

We had the unveiling all of our
new quilts for Quilt Spree 2012
last night for our Preview Party...
and the excitement continues today!

The theme this year is "Strip Along Friends"
and each of the shops in the Spree
chose and shared 2 1/2" fabric strips of bright colors.
It was definitely "BRIGHT/outside the box" of our comfort zone -
but we think we did an Amish-ly smashing job!

Yes, you know us, we have Projects - plural!!!
So, without further ado...
The "GOOD WIVES GONE WILD":
We have used all of the colors
from each of the shops in the Hop.
So if you want to make this lovely
"GW GONE WILD" quilt,
the pattern is in your Spree Pattern Pack, and
you will need to pick up a strip pack from each of the Spree Shops,
plus our strip pack & finishing kit.  We cut each of the strips in half -
(those are cut 1 1/4 inches wide) and used Marti Michell's 60 degree ruler.
Isn't it just the greatest quilt??!
But wait!
There's still the Good Wives version/colorway....
you know we had to!!!
drum roll....
ESPRESSO YOURSELF:
It's the same Good Wives pattern from your Spree Pattern Pack,
and of course, to save you time,
we have a complete kit put together in all of the "espresso" colors
for the top and binding,
just like we used in our sample!!!

If you don't have your
Quilt Spree Pattern Pack yet,
we still have them available at the shop -
only $15 gets you all of the patterns
from each of the shops in the Spree.

Finally, just a reminder,
all of the Shops in the Spree have the same hours this week:
Wednesday and Thursday
9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday and Saturday
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hope to see you this week!
Happy Hopping to all the shops in the Spree!!
